The device supports USB power and can also be connected to a vehicle’s OBD port for continuous vehicle power. A portable power bank can also be used as an external power source.
The device covers the following frequency ranges:
GSM: 925–960 MHz
GPS L2/L5: 1150–1275 MHz
GPS: 1550–1610 MHz
DCS: 1800–1920 MHz
The stated coverage depends on local signal strength. The supplied specifications indicate approximately 2–8 meters for GPS-related signals and 1–5 meters for GSM/DCS signals.
The 2G band is intended only for blocking LBS/GSM-based vehicle GPS positioning. It does not affect mobile phone positioning or mobile phone calls.
Power Options
Two main vehicle power options are available:
USB Power: 5V, ≥2A. It can be powered from a USB power source or portable power bank.
OBD Power: Connects directly to the vehicle’s OBD port for continuous vehicle power. Depending on the vehicle, the OBD port may continue supplying power after the engine is switched off.
A 10,000 mAh power bank is stated to provide more than 24 hours of operation. Actual operating time depends on the power bank and operating conditions.
