Mobile Phone Jammers
Our mobile phones connect to cell towers in order to get reception. A Mobile Phone Jammer sends out a signal(signals) on the same frequencies as your Mobile Phone, therefore causing a temporary disruption. All the while the Cell Phone Jammer transmits on the same frequencies as your mobile device – thus your calls will be blocked.
A cellphone jammer’s activity actually creates a denial of service (DOS) attack. The jamming device overpower any cellular phone, by emitting “white noise” signals on the same frequencies, and therefore the two waves cancel each other out. Since smartphones are full duplex devices (one frequency for talking and the other for listening), it is enough to block only one signal in order to create an effect of blocking both. Some cell phone jammers block both talking and listening signals simultaneously.
